Baroque bridge (Kráľová pri Senci)

Highlights

The bridge in Kráľová pri Senci in the south-west of Slovakia is considered to be the most beautiful of the bridges listed in the List of national monuments. It is a three-arched baroque bridge with balustrades built of stone over the Čierna voda brook. In the past, it connected the French garden with the English park, which were the property of the Pálffy family. The buildings have not been preserved, so the bridge now leads to nowhere and is used as part of a cycle path that was built in 2002.
