On the basis of Act NR SR No. 546/2010 Coll., which amended the Civil Code, with effect from 1 January 2011, mandatory publication of contracts was introduced as a condition for their effectiveness in cases defined by law. The amendment should ensure a higher degree of transparency and also a more economical handling of public property and public funds. As part of this amendment, Act No. 211/2000 Coll. on free access to information.
The amendment to the Act on Free Access also regulates the publication of orders for goods and services. OOCR Senec is obliged to make the order available on its website within 10 working days. However, if the order is related to a contract that must be published, the city has no obligation to publish such an order.
