On the basis of Act NR SR No. 546/2010 Coll., which amended the Civil Code, with effect from 1 January 2011, mandatory publication of contracts was introduced as a condition for their effectiveness in cases defined by law. The amendment should ensure a higher degree of transparency and also a more economical handling of public property and public funds. As part of this amendment, Act No. 211/2000 Coll. on free access to information. The Freedom of Information Act prescribes the obligation to publish invoices for organizations established by the local government. The law sets a deadline of 10 working days for the city to publish these invoices. This period is calculated from the day of delivery to the organization, but no later than 30 days after their payment.
